Services

From enrollment to operations to academics, we use AI tools to help you take action.

  • Attracting a diverse and qualified applicant pool requires more than just reviewing applications. We use unique tools to identify trends and opportunities that help you broaden your reach and connect with prospective families who align with your school’s values and goals. Our data-driven approach also ensures that your financial aid resources are allocated efficiently, targeting the students who will benefit most. By going beyond basic metrics and integrating environmental data sources, we provide actionable knowledge that enables you to refine your admissions strategy and optimize financial aid decisions for enrollment and long-term student success.

  • We go beyond the dashboard to analyze your advancement practices whether it be annual giving, leadership campaigns, marketing, or alumni engagement. We uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities, to help you formulate specific and actionable strategies that tailored to your school's unique community. From identifying donor patterns to optimizing communications, we help you focus your efforts where they will have the greatest impact.

  • Are your curriculum programs meeting the needs of your students and faculty? Our tools dig deep into enrollment trends, academic performance outcomes, and student feedback to assess program effectiveness. Beyond the surface, we provide a granular understanding of what’s working and where improvements are needed. With a clearer view into how your students are succeeding, you’ll be equipped to make decisions that align your curriculum with your school’s mission and goals.

  • Attracting and retaining the right faculty is one of the biggest challenges schools face. Our AI-driven analysis looks at historical hiring data, retention patterns, and exit data to identify strategies for building a stronger, more stable team. We identify where faculty who thrive in your community come from and how to attract more of them, all while helping you understand what motivates your faculty and how you can foster an environment that supports their growth and loyalty.

  • As the foundation from which all operations of a school extend, making sure your institution is in financial good health is essential. Whether optimizing your tuition pricing strategy, endowment usage, physical plant maintenance and growth, or operational spending, we are available to help ensure your financial approach serves your mission now and for the future.

  • As two former Deans of Students, we understand intimately the hurdles to building school culture. We find many school leaders often disassociate community and culture work from data, but our approach empirically examines the intricate layers of equity, inclusion, social belonging, and overall community health. Using qualitative and quantitative data tools, we uncover patterns and provide nuanced, actionable strategies to strengthen your school’s culture. Whether it’s identifying barriers to inclusion or improving community dynamics, we help you take clear steps toward fostering an environment where everyone feels they belong.

Our process

  • After an initial meeting to discuss what problems your institution faces and the appropriate internal data to gain clarity on these issues, IDP builds a model with our AI-powered software. We use this model to conduct a first level of analysis that will serve as a foundation for phase two.

  • Together we review our first round of analysis and identify the specific questions that need to be answered to take practical action. In our collaborative conversations, we identify external data that can be used to find answers to these questions. IDP then layers these sources into our model and conducts granular analysis to arrive at solutions. Rather than produce a limited, static set of dashboards, we create dynamic visualizations that can be modified during the course of conversation to consider new concerns as they arise and direct strategic actions.

  • The possibilities are endless. We often find that phase two generates more questions and potentials for new data integration. Many of our clients want to assess the efficacy of new strategies and partner with us over time to continue our collaboration. As school leaders ourselves, we understand how critical constituent buy in is, so we are happy to help present findings and new approaches to boards of trustees, faculty, parents, and others.

Engagement tiers

We tailor our work to the individual needs of our clients, but in general, our collaborations with organizations take three shapes.

Tier 1

We work with an institution on a targeted project through phases one and two described above. This includes strategy collaboration as well as delivering imagery and presentational work at the end of phase two. Our clients often ask that we present our work to key constituencies within their organizations, which we are always happy to facilitate.

Tier 2

Similar to tier one, though a broader scope of work. This can include working on multiple related or unrelated projects at once, conducting internal data collection to supplement existing data from our clients, and/or engaging in more rounds of iterative analysis and strategizing.

Tier 3

This is the limitless version of our work. In these engagements, we work through all three phases with our clients on one or multiple projects. What we and our clients find most exciting about this sort of collaboration is the opportunity to assess strategies on a longitudinal basis. Regardless of the domain, operational, academic, or cultural, we work together to analyze data, implement new strategies, and then continue our work on the outcomes of those strategies to refine and optimize them over time.
